What is Moxi?
Moxi is a free home for promoters, club nights and festivals. One page holds every event with its flyer, lineup and tickets, plus a signup for your own list and analytics that show which link and which country sold.
How do I sell tickets online with no booking fee?
On Moxi you link your own Stripe account and sell tickets on your own page. The people buying pay the price you set, with no booking fee. Moxi takes 5% of each ticket from you, and card fees come out of that 5%.
How much does Moxi cost a promoter?
Creating and publishing your page is free. If you sell tickets on Moxi, Moxi takes 5% of each ticket and card processing fees come out of that 5%. There is no booking fee for the buyer. When you refund a ticket, Moxi keeps its fee.
Where can I sell tickets on Moxi?
Selling on Moxi needs a Stripe account for a business in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland. Anywhere else, your nights link out to your ticket seller.
Can I keep my current ticket seller?
Yes. A night can link out to Resident Advisor, DICE, Skiddle or any other seller, sell on Moxi, or do both. Moxi counts the ticket taps either way.
How quickly do I get paid from ticket sales?
Ticket money goes to your own Stripe account, and Stripe pays it out to your bank every Monday.
Can I sell early bird tiers and scan tickets on the door?
Yes. You can set ticket tiers and timed releases. Buyers get a QR ticket by email, and you scan it at the door with your phone's camera. You also get an orders list with resend, refunds and a guest list.
Can I run a rep or ambassador team?
Yes. You run your crew from the same login: each rep gets their own link, and you set quests, points and rewards.
Who owns the customer list?
You do. People who sign up on your page give their email to you. You can import the opted-in customers from your ticket site's export, and export your full list at any time.
Will my events show up on Google?
A new promoter page starts hidden from search. When you switch search on in Settings, each public night has its own page with a title, a description and event details that search engines can read. Google decides which pages to index and where they rank.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Start with your moxi.fan address, then connect a domain you already own or buy one through Moxi, from £14.99 a year. Your Moxi address redirects to your domain, so old links keep working. Connecting a domain is part of the paid plans, which are free during the rollout.
